The SCL-2 is a custom in-wall loudspeaker designed primarily for use as an LCR or surround in larger systems. It features JBL's patented D2415K dual 1.5-inch compression driver mated to a large format High-Definition Imaging (HDI) horn. Triple 8-inch Advanced Aluminum Matrix cone cast-frame woofers operate in a 2.5-way network configuration allowing for installation vertically or horizontally without lobing or other acoustical issues found in traditional designs. The integrated MDF enclosure is designed for installation in standard 2x6 wood frame construction, and Internal connections allow for bi-wiring or bi-amplification in advanced installations. The SCL-2 delivers unparalleled performance in a wide variety of applications and is ideal for use in medium, large, and extra-large rooms.
